While we all love the chilly winter and the vibes of Christmas around , our skin doesn’t seem to be happy with it. Skin tends to get extremely dry as well as our scalp which leads to dandruff.
Lots of you must be facing problems with dandruff and forehead pimples .
One of the main causes for forehead pimples is dandruff and dirty scalp. It is very important to nourish your scalp with a proper oil and your skin with the right moisturiser.

In this blog, I’ll help you to know how to take care of your skin during winters.
During winters my skin tends to get extremely dry . My skin is usually dry even in summers but with the chilly winter season , all the oil on my skin tends to scrape away. This can lead to signs of ageing and fine lines with time and if left unnoticed , it might lead to serious skin damage .

Here are some steps which I personally follow :

1. Using the proper face wash : It is needless to say , how important it is to wash your face daily , twice a day, with the right face wash. By the term right face wash, I mean the face wash which suits your skin type. If you belong to a dry skin type , you should rather use something which will hydrate your skin and not scrape off all the oil.

2. Using proper toner : Many people think toners aren’t that important during winters. It is a myth. Toners are equally important throughout the year in order to keep your pores clean and tight.

3. Using proper moisturiser: it is very important to use the proper moisturiser during winters. Please do not use any type of cold creams as it tends to make your skin burn and look dark. I personally use the biotique coconut oil cream. It is extremely hydrating and has a fresh fragrance to it.

4. Using sunscreen : Many people think it is not important to use sunscreen during winters but it is very important to use sunscreen , specially during winters. The UV rays tends to be more harmful during winters .

5. Removing makeup : It is very important to remove makeup and scrub your skin. Makeup doesn’t harm your skin but not removing makeup for a long time makes your skin, look and feel damaged .
